The Ruth H. Young Child Welfare Center

The Guardianship Assistance Project

The Guardianship Assistance Project is a 3 year study evaluating the effects on children, caregivers, and Maryland's child welfare system of providing a $300.00 a month subsidy to relative caregivers who pursue the permanency plan of Custody and Guardianship of children in their care.
